As you should already know many viruses are cycled through the web. Viruses are being made just about everyday by all sorts of people- from the 13 year old computer nerd to the 45 year old highly experienced hacker (by the way "hacker" isn't
necessarily a bad term). The newest of these viruses is the . If you're worried about being effected by it update your anti-virus software. If you don't update, your software will not be able to find the virus. It helps if you set your anti-virus software to
automatically search for an update.
Comcast
Comcast has been having a little difficulty trying to keep their internet service connected (little..eh?). One of the most annoying things that has happened is problems with e-mail accounts. Not too many people like to use Comcast's software (I don't). So many use Internet Explorer or Netscape and use Outlook Express for their e-mail. To do this Outlook needs to have a POP3 address. Your e-mail address is yourname@home.com not yourname@outlook.com. So Outlook looks for the POP address and types in your username when it gets their to grab your e-mail so you can read it. I recently got an e-mail saying that whenever he got onto Outlook a password was asked and after he clicked OK it kept coming up. If he clicked cancel it would say "Cant connect to host 'POP3'". I soon figured it out- his POP3 address was screwed up. I did A LOT of hunting but I found what the POP address is for Comcast custumers who were switched over to the new server. The POP is the same for the incoming and the outgoing: mail.rdc1.pa.home.com
